Sixteen years as a drummer and looking forward to the next sixteen!
I officially started on the live scene in Moncton, NB with East Coast Music Award winners An Acoustic Sin (Ronnie LeBlanc). After a near one year stint with AAS, I went on to play with Hillsborough rocker Todd Geldart in 1996. Some of our "moments" include the release of two full-length albums and a single as well as a music video; opening for several Nazareth shows; opening for Canadian rockers Trooper and Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo; being featured on Moosetracks (Cd's found in cases of beer!); taking the 1st place prize at Startracks, a worthy Maritime band competition; playing live on BT on several occasions...and the list goes on. I then went on to play Southern Blues/rock in the local scene with Pete Lavnder and The Borderline Blues Band. I also hosted ROCK JAM with fellow Moncton musician Dan Donaldson on several occasions.
Stylistically, I range from Jazz to blues...rock to prog-rock. Well versed in theory and precision drumming. My musical influences are very broad, I've tackled many styles of music over the years! I use Yamaha drums, DW pedals and Sabian cymbals.
While my true passion is playing the drum kit, I also have a knack for writing music. I'm currently working on a project called The Weird & The Wonderful. I'll post some of my compositions very shortly. I recently re-located to Toronto to pursue a mixed career in music; please stay tuned for upcoming shows and activities! Peace \m/
